The train set includes (1) Steam Locomotive, (1) Tender, (2) Passenger Cars, (1) Combination Car, (8) Curved O36 FasTrack sections, (1) FasTrack Terminal section, (1) Straight Ten Inch FasTrack Plug-Expand-Play Power Lock on section, (2) Straight Ten Inch FasTrack sections, (1) Wall Pack Power supply, and (1) LionChief Remote for Locomotive.

Using the Lionel LionChief App, the operation technology includes Bluetooth, Lionel Voice Control (LVC), and Voice Streaming & Recording (VSR) which enables custom train announcements and live voice streaming through the engine. The RailSounds System controls steam chuffing, background sounds, whistle, bell, and user-activated announcements. The FasTrack System features a snap-together locking mechanism for reliable connections.

The electric locomotive is controlled by remote and features a maintenance-free motor, diecast metal body, on/off switch for smoke & sounds, puffing smoke, operating couplers, steam chuffing and background sounds, whistle, bell, user-activated announcements, operating headlight, two traction tires, soft molded diaphragms between cars, and interior lighting. The remote control requires (3) AAA Alkaline Batteries for operation and a Phillip screwdriver is required to access the battery compartment.

Regular maintenance is recommended, including lubricating wheels, axles, & linkage, occasional wiping with a soft cloth, and removing all batteries when not in use for an extended period of time. The set is recommended for ages 14 years and up.
